Is this stuff just the Pooopy, or is it just over kill for us CB'rs? I was searching around and came across this... Looks interesting...

The bending radius is over a foot, vs 5 inches for 213u,HELIAX coaxial cables have a solid corrugated Copper outer conductor to protect against electromagnetic interface and radio frequency interference (EMI and RFI).
and a little over 1 inch for RG8.

Why is the word coppper, sensored in reference to coax??

Heliax (or Andrews Heliax as it was when I used it) is great for long runs.
Now at CB freqs that isnt so bad running RG8 unless you are talking of
over 100 metre lengths, but the 70 metres I used was for 2 metre band
and boy what a difference it made over RG8, several "S points" on RX sigs as reported by most "fixed stations" that had previously struggled to hear me!
But it is expensive, hard to route and a **Censored** to make off/terminate.
So, unless you are using excessively long feedlengths of RG8, I'd say
save your money
