You must mean 2980 or 2990 ? A 2950 and 2970 are mobile radios :)

So, figure that half of that would be the normal going rate of used anything. Hot items bring a higher percentage.

150 would be great. 225. would be a good price. Dont think I would go higher unless it was unused, in incredible shape, etc.

Good thing is if you buy a new one from Sparky's it will be aligned, Peaked, Tuned and converted

Well i belive it is an older one because he has had it for about 9 years. It has been converted and aligned by a real reputable tech that goes by Gadget man from up here in MN

there was a lot of problems with the old 2950's, and its hard to find a tech that aligns radios, a lot involved, but if he's a local tech you'll probably be in good shape

ALIGNMENT PROCEDURES INCLUDE
PLL Alignment
Transmitter Alignment
Receiver Alignment

Yeah I think he does it all. He does not sell but he does all the work to the radios. Very well known around here and nothing but good things about him.
He does finals,Boards and everything eles.

To be honest. I think he is the only one around here that does do anything nice and he does it all.
