Hi!
I need some help. I put up my antenna today and when I check my SWR it went all the way to the right, RED, RED, RED. The SWR alert on my CB also came on.
Now this is what I have:

Antenna: I-max 2000 on a 40’ of pole
Cable: Belden 8214 braid RG-8 (type 50)
Also I put my owne PL-259 UHF-Type connectors on.

NEED HELP!!!!!!

Yep...I'd say your PL259's as well. Not alot can go wrong with that set up. Did you check things prior to putting it up in the air? It's always a good idea to try and make sure things are set down on the ground (i.e. on a 10' pole or even a fence post or something) prior to puttin' it up. ;)
