Got a friend that has one he wants to do some trading with me.

Anybody got any opinions or words (good/bad) on this model?

Thanx,

If I'm thinking about the same radio, I used to have one of these years ago. It was the analog tuned desk top receiver that had a separate speaker. It was a great rig. kinda finicky to tune but reception was great with my long wire antenna in the attic. Don't know when they quit making that radio so I don't know how much they are worth. I have seen one or two on eBay you might check there to get an idea of what they are worth. Like I said, it was a good rig and I listened to broadcasts and ham operators all over the world. The radio was ruined when my basement flooded several years ago.

It's a crap shoot on ebay. I've seen them go from $25 up to $185 so far. Was looking at new ones but they are high priced now. The only thing Rat Shack sells now are them little bitty critters.

Did you get flooded on the Plaza? I used to live in Lees Summit until 89 when we moved down here to Warsaw on The Lake of The Ozarks.

Thanx,

No, didn't get flooded. I live out by the airport.
Was I thinking about the same radio that you were asking about?
Anyway Warsaw is a nice area. I have some property down by Laurie to hunt on. About halfway down the lake from you. If I'm down that way soon I'll give you a shout. What channel are you on mostly?

Ya Hooligans is good! Hey, if you can find one of those 160s cheap you will be happy with it. You shouldn't have to pay much for one. Hope to catch ya at the lake sometime. Haven't got down there this winter at all. Been too cold. It's only 4 degrees here tonight. Keep Warm!
