A friend has one. Very hard to find in good shape and this one is. 2500 plus watts output but i cant remember how many tubes it has. I think its 4 big ones. Been offered over $3000.00 for it but he will not sale it, made me mad to!

Truth be known the amp is not worth 3000.00 You can get an amp that will do 3 times the output of that for 2000.00
about 2kv goes to the plates.
If you have 3000 to spend on an amp, look in the right places. You will find something that will smoke a dosy for half the price.

There are many things that are worth a lot to some but very little to others. Of the few of these that Ray in Elkin can get they all go for at least $2500.00 and the really nice ones can fetch over $3000.00 easy.
Its alone the same lines as some one paying $600.00 or more for a Tram D-201A and then his friend looking at him like he is crazy and saying for that you could have gotten a 2995. The RCI maybe a stronger radio but it will never be a collectors item like the Tram.
