Ain't nothing wrong with the above plans.

You could try this salt-water dummy load.

PLANS FOR DUMMY LOAD

:D Good news
i to searched for plans.there`s plans in the book screwdriver experts guide to repairing c.b.`s
i made one it worked for a while then burned out. i did it again same result. i saw one on line
and bought it $15. it to worked for a while. frustrated i took it apart IT LOOKS LIKE THE ONE I MADE FOR A BUCK
i checked it carefully the bulb was loose. it worked fine then. i wondered why mine didn`t work it turned out the plans
called for 6 volt 3 watt flashlight bulb. the one i paided $15 for has a 12 volt 3 watt bulb.
now i make the dollar special with the 12 volt. i`ll sell you one for $15  just kidding
HEARS HOW YOU DO IT
rat shack has the bulbs take an old pl-259 solder the center pin to the connection on the bottom of the bulb solder the
braid connection to the side of the bulb that's it.you can make it as fancy as you want screw in socket lens etc.

SHINNING ON LIKE A KRAZY DIAMOND THIS IS DARKSTAR OUT
