Tell me what you guys think of these old amps, I picked one up for 100 bucks and this thing is near mint. Havent hooked it up yet but the guy I got it from said it would do about 4 to 5 hundred. Just wanted to know what you guys thought about it. Thanks in advanced!

I just got one myself.

It will do 300 watts PEP (Sideband) for 15 watts input, and about 150-175watts on AM with 4 watts of drive.

The tubes are very expensive to replace.

I love all 6 of my Skipper 300's :) I run a 2watt dead key with a swing to 10-15 or so and see 300 peak out of them. Awesome clear sounding boxes. Don't over drive them and they'll last a looooong time.
