Just wondering if anyone knows anything about these base radios. Do they talk and receive well and can you modify them? Here is a few pictures of it.

Oh sorry about that forgot to add that part. It is a Realistic TRC-433 Navaho.

I had one of those quite a few years ago. I asked a shop guy to see what he could do. He got some good mod but every time he tried to broadband it he sacrificed mod. I don't know if this is typical or if the "tech" really knew what he was doing. I used it as is for a while and it was pretty decent and just the right size for my needs.

OLD NAVAHO IT WAS A GOOD BASE IN ITS DAY YOU CAN GET SOME GOOD AUDIO OUT OF IT AND LIKE ALWAY BOPPER IS ON TOP OF THE MODS

Thanks for the replies guys, I'll have to ask around and see if any of my Rdx buddies can tune it up good for me. Now I just have to figure out an antenna system for it. :?
