Base Station Antenna upgrade
I am currently running a MR Coily Base Enforcer .64 wave Ground Plane Antenna on a 35' pushup pole. I am looking into replaceing it with a Jo Gunn 4 4 star beam antenna on top of a universal 40' aluminum free standing tower. I should be at 50' with the mast pipe. Question is how do you rate the jo gunn 4 4 star. I know it is pricy but the antenna looks well built.
Thanks
Thanks
Jo gunn antennas are built like a tank and are defiantly on the pricey side compared to some of the other antenna makers out there. They are a good performer but so are most of the beams I've seen.If you want to spend the extra cash for how well there built i say go for it but don't expect it to out preform any other 4 element with both Vertical and Horizontal.
