Beam Antenna Rotor Switch Box
this guy has a either a ar-44 or a ar-45 rotor hes not for sure
he says its a 4 or 5 wire hookup im not sure
anyone have any links or thoughts to this setup fixin to happen

the guy has either a AR44 rotor or a AR45 rotor
he thinks its a 4 or 5 wire hookup
he needs the unit that sits on the desk you click button in middle to release brake then click switch to go either clockwise or counterclockwise.

200,000 watts of ERP might be cause of it.

I've never seen either of those rotors have only 4 or 5 wire hookups. The AR-22 is 4 wire, and the AR-40 is 5 wire. Neither (that I've ever seen) have a manual brake release button, but are automatic. Sounds to me like he just needs a new or rebuilt control box. There are a couple of "rotator repair" shops online if you do a google search. They almost always will have replacement parts/controller/rotors in stock. guess i need to go over to his house and just see what hes got and go from there
hes like 65 or 70 cant really see to well.
just trying to help out a fellow radio operator
