You could use the cabinet from a tube amp and build
a transistor amp that's about it.

Well, If it is a 4 tube box you can get 31LQ6's @ $18 or less ea. and run filaments in series off line voltage.

I think it sounds like it would be easier to buy another amp..transistor...plug/play
