About 9yrs ago I lost antenna mast to the wind.so my equipment sat idle.Till this summer all came up radio real quick.i bought 4 Radio's and a low amp pyramid power supply. So I was radio set,but I still needed a mast.for about 15yrs.i had been eye ballin a 30ft.tri corner mast on top of a cricket store close by.Two weeks ago the store closed and it going under renovations and the mast disappeared and I said goodbye to it.But a good friend got me to go check the dumpster and sure enough there it was.God bless my friend.so 3 days ago I put my antron 99 up at 30ft.woohoo almost wet myself I was so excited, still can't get it.So I'm running my first gen rci 2950 with a silver eagle matched to it and a maco 300 to keep things warm when needed.
The radios I picked up are regency 23works so so.A Kris 23+a old tube base, looks real sharp and receives well but needs 1 new cap to transmit cant wait for this to work.the next one is a Cobra 148 gtl moded for multi bans I think.havent fired it up yet still need a mic for it.the next I think is s uniden grant?not totally sure all writing on the face plate is worn off.havent tried it out yet till I know for sure what is,needs a mic.The last one is a Cobra 139 xlr stepped on hard, never seen so many mods in one radio before so it's the first one I'm trying to salvage, said banging my head against the wall lol.
So hope to hear you all out there sometime when mother nature allows it

A couple weeks ago I posted an ad on CL wanting to buy cb and ham equipment.
On one transaction I picked up two president Washington’s, one with the 858 pll. Both in excellent shape, with the lot I acquired a cobra 29, two older icon 2 meter mobiles,1 Lou Franklin book a bunch of radio mod and antenna books, a 50 amp astron power supply,a HeathKit signal tracer, motorola volt meter, a 1/2 dozen HTs, and some more stuff that I can’t remember at the moment . I paid 165$
Pretty proud of that deal.

I just purchased a Radioddity QB25 Quad Band FM radio. I've been wanting a VHF radio capable of 1.25m ham band, no clue what is on the 350-390mhz band (band chart says it's military) but can use the 2m and 70cm bands for local nets and repeaters. Came with the programming cable and a tri-band mobile antenna (need a SO239 VHF mount). Not a bad price either, look on
Amazon or
eBay.

I have an Apache Labs ANAN 7000DLE MKII on the way. While I'm waiting for it to come in, I downloaded the software (Thetis v2.6.9) and have been reading the manuals for the radio and the software so I'll be ready to rock-n-roll when it arrives. I'll most likely do a video on it.

Very nice. I've looked at the equipment before. But a little out of my price range at the moment. And being in a HOA has me limited on my antenna situation. But maybe some day. Look forward to seeing that video.

Ya it is an amazing piece of equipment. A friend of mine just got one and we have been getting together to learn the software. Iv'e been putting money aside for it for a while and finally got enough to pull the trigger on it. Since I already upgraded my computer (7 core gaming computer) I did not need the ANAN with a built in i5 or i7 computer. I got the black edition. Still a bit pricey though. Sorry about the HOA bud

A little late but I sold off a HR2510, TRC-465 and palomar 75 and bought a Kenwood TS-830S back in the summer. Today I bought a Royce's 639 with an old D104m6b cheap, nomodulation, but had carrier. Hopefully batteries and or new mic cable will fix it up. Looks almost mint.

Not CB but still radio........
For Christmas my wife and two oldest sons pooled in and got me a Yaesu FTM-400XDR dual band with System Fusion digital radio. This is a "game changer" compared to what I had!!!!!!

As usual, my radio spending is out of control. I have a brand new Ameritron AL-80B on the way. Looking forward to it!
Merge Complete
Added 24 days 2 hours 4 minutes 6 seconds after previous.
Alright, here we go again with more spending. My Anan 7000DLE MKII and Ameritron AL-80B hasn't come in yet so to tide me over until they come in, I ordered an Icom IC-7300. The Icom is in stock so it should be here in a couple of days. I think I need to go to radio rehab lol. Radio Anonymous RA
