Actually I'm not sure whats going on at Wolf right now. I contacted them a couple months ago about building me a 4 element Beam and I was told they weren't building them right now. I didn't know if that included their omni antennas as well. My guess is, its a very small shop and they can only work on one thing at a time:-)

both have been known to bleed...

but the imax's have been more prone to breaking in my neck of the woods....i would go with a tried tested and true, A-99

just to clarify about my 5 wavelength longwire antenna post, a longwire antenna is not omnidirectional, it has gain in the direction of the wire. (this is why there are no verticals over one wavelength, at around one wavelength, the angle of radiation starts to go straight up into the sky, thats why the longwire antennas are strung horizontal, the more wavelengths of wire, the sharper the directional pattern.) 209
