A Imax2000, not sure if I'll get away with that. It being 24ft and all. Plus the size of the mast/pole. Plus I just realized I have a new problem. A 35 ft tree just out my backyard. Now it's about 25 ft out. So maybe it will work in between my house and the tree.

Being I have only 9-10 ft up there. I guess that won't work. Was thinking of something like this. And that's only if my HOA makes me take the other down.

You'll be fine with the inverted V in there. Don't worry if the ends need to straighten out for a few inches, or so, either. JMHO. 73

if you have enough attic space you could mount something like an a-99 sideways [looks stupid but has amazing dx capabilities that way] but if its an apartment or condo I'm not sure about messing up the neighbors computers video games ect. However there is another way... Get your ham license and the hoa shouldn't be able to complain about an outdoor antenna. I got a letter from my city council about my little 30 foot tower and 3 antennas. telling me they had to go. Went down to cityhall with my license and explained that I was part of the local emergency nets and problem solved. After I got hit by the tornado jan 21 2017 the code officer made the comment that he was glad they were gone. Now I kave a 50 foot tower, a 30 footer and fixing to put up a 40 footer for 11m ground plane. He just shook his head and told me just to paint them so the rust didn't make his house look bad. He was my neighbor but moved

That's what I first looked into. But I will be going with my Pat-12 on top of a old sat dish. If I get forced to take it down by my HOA. Then it goes in the backyard on top of a 8-9 ft pole. Then, since I work for my HOA, I would quit.

The problem here is everybody thinks they are special and the world MUST revolve around them. HOA s are what I call the front yard mafia. They could most likely be challeneged in court but the problem there is they probably have more money and better lawyers than the average home owner. And we all know $$$$$$$$$ grease the wheels of politics government and "justice?" but let a disaster happen where your radio is their ONLY means of communicating because all the cell towers are down I bet they a. would be glad its there and B help you put it up. I can understand not having a 50-60' tower in the front yard but a modest ant system in the back wont hurt anyone. The old "but that makes my property value go down" doesn't fly with me. But if you are worried about that then sell out before we put something else is my opinion but I can be a bit evil when necasary.
