This radio began life as the Yaesu FT-200. It was also sold by the European importers as the Sommerkamp FT250 and by Henry Radio in the USA as the "Tempo One". It is an SSB/CW transceiver that covers the bands from 80m to 10m. It is mostly a tube radio with a solid state VFO. Output is 100 watts. It was first produced in the late 60's.

I believe they were distributed by Henry Radio in California. If you go to the library and check some old QST mags in the late 60's early 70's you can find ads for them. -drdx

Thanks for the info, I hope I can get enough info to get this rig operational again. I havent tried it since I got it several years ago and it has been in storage for a couple years now. when i first got it it would power on and light up but I dont have a mic to try with it. I think it would be a neat little toy to have and play with from time to time.
