I currently have my base set up in my shop out behind my house, but I'm thinking about moving it into my house. So I will be having to run my coax about 150 feet to my house and it will be going over my gravel driveway. So my question is, if I was to bury the coax would I be risking damage to the coax??? If so, would it be a good idea to maybe run the coax through some small PVC pipe???
I don't know if it matters if it is just plane old pvc or not.
But I would buy electrical conduit, and have it big enough
for a couple of extra wires. That way you could possibly
feed the wire through there if you ever had to pull it out.
drill holes in the bottom ot the pipe . dont want them holding water and soaking the coax during storm and snow seasons . also check out bury-flex by davisrf .
