New Acquisition - Titan II

#96737

Post by 928bolo »

I bought this Tram Titan II with the original box/packaging , Mic, owners manual, and promotion poster. The radio and mic are physically perfect.

Radio was purchased new December 1968. Looks like it was never used.

Works great, but I will send it to Barkett Electronics to check out and re-cap.

that is a super find ! time capsule. did u try it first before sending it out? seeing that it is unused, there is a likelyhood that the caps didnt dry out. i have many 40's-60's hi fi tube amps with the original caps. congrats. 209

I did try it and it works great. I plan to use the radio often so I thought it would be a good idea to have Greg replace the caps.

40 years is a long time for an oil filled paper capacitor to remain intact.
