SWP 2980WX or DX2517 "decision"

Which one of these two radios (2980WX or 2517) talks the LOUDEST and receives the best (on AM) "after" a SuperWackPack & Super Receive? or are they exactly the same radio?

In this case everyone has their own opinion.I personally like the features of the 2517 better and i cant really deside which is louder because after a SWP their both loud as H***(well u no were i was goin).Probably the best thing to do is call mike.As for features they both have the toys but the 2517 has dual echo on outside of the radio and the 2980 has a switch ,on and off and the echo is a lil too much for my taste.The 2517 has variable talk back(i think) the 2980 doesent and the 2980 has the 3600 circut board the 2517 has the 6900 board but other than that they are very much alike.I think its pretty obvious which one i like her but again,This is just one mans opinion

Both are the same, except the 2980 has a better chance of having a better power supply if that makes sense! The 2517 must get sloppy seconds because about 1 in ten has a great PS. While the 2980 gets them in the current production.
But after that I agree on the AUDIO-------O!
