In talking back and forth via E-Mail, RA actually talked me down on what I needed to purchase as opposed to what I wanted to purchase! :shock:
Now that is a businessman who knows the value of a satisfied customer and how to make repeat sales. 8)
Man that will cheat himself out of a higher dollar sale is a man to be trusted! :D

My comments have nothing to do with RA but are based on general knowledge of retail business practices. Just because one item is priced cheaper than another does not mean the merchant is going to make less money on the lesser priced item.

Just an observation.

Mike sees more than a dollar sign, he wants to see those who buy, come back for more because he took care of you the right way from the start. That is just one example of how he does it. So if you don't mind me asking, what was it that you "wanted" and what you really "needed"?

Nope! no gain here for RA other than a new satisfied cutomer! I would venture to say that in being as honest as he obviously is, he probably cost himself $75.00 that he will more than make up on future sales to me.
This is just the start of my buying from RA.

Mike has been very helpful with me and I didn't even end up buying a radio from him.

He seems highly recommended for all radio service needs and you can bet he'll be getting my radio if it needs anything.

Exactly as promised, Mike shipped my antenna on Monday and it arrived today. I did have to question him via E-Mail about the extra fiberglass antenna included in with my order though. I was afraid someone had goofed and included it by mistake, but Mike just replied that they put them in the box as a "stiffener" and it was a freebee.

How about that, purty smart feller that RadioActive guy! :lol:

I'm happy. :D
