Hi Guys,
I am currently looking to buy a Tram Corsair and I am trying to find out if anyone knows whether this radios was tube or solid state? It was made by Tram in about 1970, so I am assuming it was tubes...It was crystal-controlled, 23 channels with SSB, and reminds me a little of a smaller, scaled down version of a Tram Titan 2, without the handles, DSB or front-firing speaker...
I am an old-radio enthusiast and this will be my 2nd Tram if all goes well. I am thinking of using it as a backup rig in my shack as I am getting active on Channel 15 out here now...any ideas or info on this radio? It appears they are quite rare, by the way...Thanks!
