CALIBRATING MY SWR METER
Ive got A 2 watt dk on my radio and when I calibrate my meter to set my SWR I have to use the variable on my radio to turn my power up to about 4 watts just to make it calibrate . Why is this , and is it giving me A correct reading ?

are you recalibrateing the swr meter with the box on.??? it shouldnt be that much higher especially if its 1.1 with it off. hum. what is it a moble or base set up.?? if its a moble, check it on channel 1 then on ch. 40 and see which is better. i got a connex 4300-300 and if the swr isnt almost flat the swr climbs up there. had to really fine tune my 10k down to where it was flat.
11 METER OUTLAW.
