I have to say about how great one of are sponsors of this board is. Red from Redman CB is on top of what is going on with his web site. I have ordered several things from him in the past weeks. And he answered e-mail's within minutes and on sundays. And shipped the next day, getting them with'in three days. Got a Galaxy DX 2517 base and with the new circuit boards they are using you would not believe how quiet and stable the receive is on these radios. He carries some very extra-ordandary things on his site and it is worth checking out. I would like to say thanks to Tom for the great radio and mike.

Do me a favor will ya? Keep us posted as to the performance of that combo. I have a bazooka I got over a year ago while on sale from the same folks. Have yet to set it up. I already have a 99 in the air so there is no hurry for me but I have heard great reports on bazookas in general like good performance, low noise and very little splatter. Mine is rated at 1500 watts if I remember correctly.
Thanks a bunch........Mike
