I talked to Clay's yesterday. He finished the tune on the Palomar Elite 300 and Uniden 66XL I sent him. I was just over 4 weeks. They are shipping it back on Monday. The tune on the box, Uniden 66, parts, and return shipping were on 73.00. That's shipping from Texas to PA, i think that a great bargain. The staff was very polite and apologized for the 4 week time period. I got a brief explanation of the work done on the telephone. For a busy shop that a huge mail in business as well as walk ins and this was just routine work for the business, I don't have a problem with a 4 week turn around. I on hold a short while while a computer was rebooting. Clay's is getting so much business they have reached the capacity of their web server and a upgrade is in the future. This will be my first linear. I am sure the work will meet my expectations. Thank you Clays Radio Shop. I found CBRT though Clays site and always wanted to try out Clays work.
