Its pretty simple. When told to do so, both vehicles start talking at the same time. Whoever is heard by another radio in the distance is the winner.

Not really much to see...just two vehicles with a bunch of antennas and loud engines.

yeah from what the video shows it doesn't look like a spectator really gets to see much. So how does the FCC not jump in on something like that? I would imagine the power used is just a tad bit over the legal limit. As big as the signal from that would be, it would be pretty easy to track down.

Easy to win Perhaps I see a market idea

Interesting and crazy .Do the cars have to be street drivable during the contest?


I wonder if a 500 ft Rope Beam might be in order to get forward gain using rope to support the 43 aluminum elements
