WHAT IS THE BEST SSB AND AM COMBO OUT THERE NOW AND I AM TALKING ABOUT LIFE AND SOUND NOT JUST SOUND FOR 2 WEEKS AND IT'S DOWN!! I HAD A 2950 AND IT LASTED 8 WEEKS TILL IT HAD A PROBLEM!! THAT WAS TEN YEARS AGO!!! I WHAT IT ALL GENERAL LEE AM AND 2950 SSB IS THERE ANY THING OUT THERE THAT HAS IT ALL AND WILL LAST??

The 2950DX has had many many updates. 10 years ago some got 3 hours out of it! But the design is much better.

depends on what you want. mobile or base. i think the best base in by far the cobra 2000. i have tons of contacts barefoot. and made my first cross the atlantic to the uk on a barefoot cobra 2000. as far as a mobiule i am not to sure. ssb would eb to hard to play with in the mobile while driving so i don't mess with it.
