i have a galaxy 93 t and a texas start 350 high drive installed in my 1993 peterbilt now. i have 8 gauge power and ground wires run to the batteries. i am going to add a straight 8 pill fat boy to the truck and drive it with the 350. i just ordered a 250 amp alternator with the external adjustable voltage regulator from motor city reman. what size power and ground cables should i run to the 8 pill?
i have 4 batteries in the truck. would it be better to try to run dual alternators? the truck currently has a 150 amp alt. now.
