i just bought a Uniden PC 76 XL for $35.00 $18.00 s/h = $53.00. did i get ripped off or not? and he said it was peeked and tuned. does anyone know how much they usually sell for? Thanks
No, I think you did ok. It's comparable to the cobra 29s and they go for twice that +. IMO
Had one a few years ago and it was a good talker and it stood up to the abuse that only a 637 scraper can throw at a radio!

I WOULD SAY YOU GOT A DEAL!! THE TUNE & PEAK DEPENDS ON WHO DOES IT!!! DO YOU MIND TELLING US WHERE YOU HAD IT DONE AT?? I WOULD GUESS THEY WOULD SELL FOR AROUND $70-$80 AT LEAST IF NEW!!

Most peak & tunes cost $20 , so you done good! Ive got a PC68XL that was $69. After the Peak & Tune its got a 30 watt swing to it. Not bad. A MudDuck with socks on LOL!

I have to agree with the crowd ! ( and a great crowd they are ! ) The thing you are looking at is total with shipping and yes shipping does bring the price up. Even with that though radio and shipping is still cheeper by a margin than new + peak & tune !
