HA! I bought the exact same radio back in the beginning of February when I first got back into CBing. I took it to the local guy here and he wouldn't even touch it. Something about "new technology" and how things are soldered on to the board. Anyway, that radio is on a shelf. All 4 watts of it. I now have a SuperWackPacked General Lee and a SWP Galaxy DX95T from RadioActive Radios. Needless to say, I don't think that the TRC-447 is going to see much current running through it.

Give Mike a call. He'll fix you up a real radio.
