so I got myself a stock no-mod trc-850 piece of history for my base. Its talking clean with my little amp (which can handle the stock dk), but its not swinging like my pc68xl.
I did the resistor/cap mod on the uniden cause it was so easily avaliable online, but I couldn't find any info for this one. Yea I can tune L-whatever for higher watts but I want to do a cap mod to get it swingin'. Any ideas?
