You guys had some clear stuff their, always a pleasure to hear. My only question was about the attenuator. You mention having it on, then off, and when it is on, according to the gates, the signals are stronger. Attenuators lessen the signal. Is it backwards on that 101 as far as the switch language? I've had 101's in the past and cant remember if they had attenuators or not but when the attenuator is on the signal is typically weaker by a set amount of db, and when it's off the signal is full tilt. Were you running maybe a preamp on there? Maybe I'VE got it backwards on the gate. It sounded kinda odd. You mentioned "you may like it better with it on", and then they got weaker on the next part.
Another funny note you may find flattering and may not have noticed. On the first gate, the operator has your "sound". He has that slide of voice, and I think even says "cottonpicka". He sounds like a white guy on a stock mic, I think his handle is rubicon exlax or something. His signal is superb but the audio could be more, and I think he was concerned about copy as he was talking loud like my grandparents used to when they were talking "long distance" on the phone, as if yelling into the thing made things better, and he kept repeating himself about your 500z's and something else I can't remember. I see no need in repeating if you're a confident operator and know that you're throttling needles without question, but each to his own. Say it once, with authority, and move on. That dude could have whispered once and been done. We have that phenomenon here, guys repeating themselves within the same transmission. I guess they don't have anything fresh to say or maybe think the original phrase got caught in the fade, who knows. You know that even for the casual gate surfer that you're known, I find it funny that he has adopted your sound. Is that a NW/NorCal/West coast sound that maybe we don't hear on the air or do you think it is more unique to you? You have a great sound on the gates, I was just wondering.

4040 caught me testing and tuning on 11 not on the bowl.
Notice how I said I was going for numbers not audio quality. Pay attention what what I was talking about.
Listen to me talk on the bowl, different sound completely.
If you want to run with the big dogs and continue to be a big dog you have to try new and different things to stay towards the top.
Then you comment on my style? Who the hell are you to tell me how I should talk or shouldnt talk.
Where is a gate of you?
Show me how YOU sound.
Point made, Your just upset not only cant you get called on the bowl, you cant hold a convo.
