I don't have any information on one but they are fairly desirable. Outward appearance they look a lot like the B&K Cobra CAM 88. Makes me wonder if they're basically the same internally. I'm fairly sure they are in one of the Howard W. Sams manuals.

I do have a copy of an old ad for them from back in the day:

Haven't seen one of those in a lot of years! They were made by 'Allied/Knight Kit', which later turned into Radio Shack. Not a 'bad' radio at all for that time period, but also nothing exceptional. I have no idea where you could find any information on them at all. That 'ad' Nagant posted is probably about as much as you'll find, maybe. Just going from what I can remember (and don't count on that!) there was nothing exceptional about it's circuitry, it was really about as 'average radio' as you could get.
Man, does that bring back memories!

I have an old Knight 6 channel base radio. Mine is a kit radio that was built by someone in the late 60's or early 70's. The workmanship of the builder is great in my opinion. There isn't a lot of info on them that I've been able to find.

looks like a nice old radio. those old radios have way exceeded their lifespan and should at bare minimum have the electrolytic filter caps replaced before they short out and really hurt things. the radio may power up and work fine but you are on borrowed time if you dont replace those capacitors. if one shorts out the damage could be severe to what looks like a collectors piece.

get it serviced, service it yourself if you know how to, or put it on the shelf till you can get it done.

I have been looking for one of these radios for awhile. Missed the one on ebay a few weeks ago. If anyone has one of these they are willing to part with, let me know.

Hi all--
I have the same question. I need a schematic for this radio. Also in answer to the original post, I did find an ad for this radio stating that it would be available for sale starting November 15, 1965, for !29.95. Please please someone share a schematic!! Thank you!
