Uniden PC78XL

Just trying to find out how to peak the power on this radio. I don't want to cut anything out or add resistors, just need to know what pods to turn up to get more power and better swing. Thanks in advance.

I don't have one of the Uniden PC78XL in front of me, but memory , I think to bring up Modulation look for Pod VR4,,,Take a small screw driver and carefully scrape off the wax on L12.. stick the screw driver
very carefully between each section of the coil to separate them.. spread it out as far
as you possibly can without touching any other parts!

Adjust L14 for maximum AVERAGE power,,,hope that helps-
