Galaxy DX 959 echo board install

I am installing an Astatic echo board on my 959 and want to make sure I
do it right. Do I need to splice into the wire coming off of pin number 2 on
my mic connections? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You will have to go with the instructions on the echo board for how they want is connected.

I kept reading the instructions, but they just wouldn't sinking into my thick
skull! This should straighten everything right out!
