Trucker Channels

I know that here in Cali, truckers use different channels on different freeways. For example on Highway 14 they use ch 14, on Interstate 5 they use channel 5. Is there any information listed as to what channels the truckers frequent on the various highways?

Here on the east coast channel 19...90%. Canadian truckers usually on 14 down here...but you would have to brush up on your french. lol

Most of the cow haulers I know run on 19 up here, and 8 on the way to Greely or Hyram. Don't know a soul that knows how to say anything other than "shut the door" in french. lol

Up here in the NW the majority of truckers run 17 on I-5 from the Canadian border down to at least N-Cal. East of the Cascade Range Mountains they run 19. Usually it's simply used as a contact channel of which they'll often go someplace else to gab...depending on how busy the channel is.

yeah from the nw coner to so cal thay use ch 17, witch we call the disney chanel lol. every onc ein a while we'll get people on 19 and all the mexicans hang out on ch7

Here in Chicago they all use channel 19. My local channel is 18. You should hear them all complain about bleed over when they get close to our base stations. Whaaaaa whaaaaaaaa whaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!

We had a HUGE argument with a trucker the other day. He came right down to 18 and started calling everyone names. Can't type them here because they would all be **SENSORED**. Needless to say, we all got in his a s s and he miraculously disappeared.

LOL! I do that sometimes too. I'll go to 19 and flip the 10khz switch. Boy, they don't like that at all. lol

CH 19 here they talk on most but alot of times i hear a few on Am on the sideband channels 35 to 40 we tell them there on siband band channels but they dont care.Most of the time there pretty nasty about it oh well.

I know what you mean there bob, I used to live about 1/2 mile from the 142 yardstick on I-75 (Perry GA) and used to talk to with people all over the state at night when skip died down I used a small footwarmer well me and quite a few truckers had rounds about that even when barefoot the truckers would complain about my RCI 2980 lol.

As far as travlin infor(smokey reports) 19, except for cali and some parts of Oregon and Washington use 17, but i flip flop back and forth sometimes 17 will b dead in cali but 19 is hoppin, sometimes its the other way around! Sometimes times i hop down on 6, but mainly i just listen i cant get out much on 6(or people dont aknowledge u, if u aint throwin some power out), i was up in nebraska one night and heard a guy talkin from arkansas, he couldnt here me back thou! Thats prolly the furthest folks ive heard!

Where I am from I find a good amount of truckers on 19 on band F.
