Let us know how it goes, I was at a small get together in October, a bunch of radio guys, we met for lunch at a resturant in NJ, one of the guys had a HR-2510 he needed to get rid of, box, mic, radio and owners manual for 100 dollars, I was like oh well take a chance even if it didn't work for that kind of money I could get it repaired. Brought it home hooked it up, worked fine, low on modulation with the stock mic but had mods done and clairfier unlocked, been using it since with great reports as long as I have a power mic on it, amazing how a Turner Expander 400 brought that radio alive

Hi dime196604
The HR-2510 and the Lincoln are the same radio; I have both. It is my personal opinion that the HR-2510 is the best SSB mobile radio ever made. That goes for the Lincoln as well. Although, the President Lincoln is not type accepted for the USA.
I use the President Lincoln on a Dummy load as a test radio for my bench. It is a great radio for testing other SSB radios against for proper alignment and performance.

Good luck and have fun,
