nice video cooter and nice radios in all the posts i have my mark three tore apart right now for some repair, as you can see from my avatar i will try and find my old pics of it. Cooter you ever get tired of those d and a boxes just send them my way i could kick myself for ever selling mine.

Thanks dirtyjob! And Thank you too KYLake. Those good ole' D&A's are tough to beat for sure. I'd like to find a nice tan faced one somewhere. People want the price of a golden bar for them though.

the tan faced one was the old triple stage i believe i had one at one point in history. Was a very good amp, i had a solid state nitro 2kw and that old d and a would out talk it every time.

The Gray one I have in my video is a 10 tube triple stage too. Must have been built before they re-designed the cabinets and made them tan and brown. It puts out better than my other 12 tube D&A's. I see an output of 1,000 watts PEP from the triple stage. The others do around 800. Who else has some Browning photos?? Lets see em!!!

The 10 tube Phantom is a bit more efficient design than the 12 tube. Yes the tan face brown cased units came later and the the Phantom series was later replaced by the PDX-400 which they tried to pass off as a CW transmitter. For the most part it was basically the same as the late model Dual Power Phantom. As far as I know the PDX, MDX, RDX.... series CW D&A's were the last of them. Okay back to the Brownings.

Thanks man, currently I have the MK4A,MKIII and the Eagle s23/r27 all work as new and I wouldnt sell em for anything.

Hope we can get some more pics from some proud browning owners here soon.

heres a pic a few years ago and im fixing to pick up another mark IV from a guy that says its broke
but he dont know that it just needs a AM lSB USB mode switch
so i get the radio spend about 90 bucks and im sitting another Bird on the shelf

I have a couple of questions. I thought the Mark III was 23 channels but one video showed someone talking on ch. 31. Are they 40 ch. or were channels added? Also wondering if the D&A PDX 400 has delay built in for sideband? And Bossman there's no way one person needs all those radios. That sure is a nice collection, any for sell?
