I have been putting the stuff back together and thats been hard. I dont have a radio shop remotely close to me.
I have spent a lot of time reading old posts on the forum.
One of the guys from work told me to stop by. He thought he had a power cord to fit one of the radios I got .
Well time to hit the "submit button and get out of here"
So.. I am off to see what he has.

Re: The Secret life of Rchydro
I was lucky and the cord the Tom had fit the cobra radio. He also gave me a box of misc. CB stuff that he didnt want anymore.
I cut the end of a old cell phone charger and used it to hook the radios power cord up to the cigarette lighter plug in the truck.
It worked. I have power to my radio. I dug out one of the magnetic mount antennas and set it onto the cab of the truck.
It seams to work, well I hear some other folks talking. Big score today!
