Is $350. a good price for one of these tube amps ?

If it has all the original knobs and switches, face plate is not all scared up, tubes are in good shape, and you can pick it up (I don't like shipping tube equipment) and see it work I would say yes. Ask if he has a manual for it.

$350 for a XL 1000?

A local has it and it was just gone over by a TECH.I didnt test it yet but will after new year.

I would get it if it works for that price. I had a xl250 that was a good performer. I think I paid $200 for it when I got it but that was back in the late 90's lol
