Antenna Cable for Base Setup?

I need about an 8' antenna cable running from a Double Bazooka mounted in the corner of my ceiling, behind a flat-screen computer monitor and to the radio mounted underneath the shelf holding the monitor. I'm more concerned about maximizing the signal output than interference with the monitor. Will a Radio Shack cable do OK, or should I bust my budget with some kind of fancy sheilded cable?

A good coax like Belden at 18 ft is about 15.00 at your local CB shop. Try RG8X or RG59
