8 watt DX from Puerto Rico to NYC

Just back from my Vacation in Puerto Rico. While i was there i set up a small station. 25 ltd classic and a 1/2 wave dipole made of an old t.v. antenna. To my surprise i was able to shoot some skip back home to friends NYC. Take a look at my YouTube Channel for the 3 "Beautiful" Video Gates.

Thanks Gunner and RedDog. Their isn't much to do up there on the mountain. Found the Radio in a box after helping my parents organize some things. and the TV antenna wasn't being used so I turned it into a 1/2 wave dipole. only used about 30' of rg58 and the rest was rg6 i didn't even measure it.

I gotta say it was the high lite of my vacation. The Vaca was needed for some R & R.
I'm glad you guys enjoyed it. I hope the rest who will see it to enjoy it as well.
