dodge charger ideas

#354605

Post by mopar_mutt »

I have a 2006 dodge charger, that I want to put a cb in. I have a k40 antenna that I am mounting to the trunk lip.
There's not much room for a big cb. I thought once about buying a cobra 75 but I would rather do something else. I also that about buying a cobra 19. I could put a medium size radio in the door pocket. Then run a remote mic hookup to the center console so the mic would be on my right side. So far I like this idea. I have an old cobra 21 ltd that fits there. The radio seams to work.
How would it be to mount a radio in the door pocket? Too much viberation.
Is the cobra 21 worth fixing if it's broke?
Does anyone here have a cb in a charger?

Removable radio rack in passenger side floor board Angled toward the driver side so it's within your reach. You can remove it whenever you have a passenger.

I have seen a couple of member talk about putting radios in their Chargers' but don't remember handles, try using the "Advanced Search" in the right top corner.
