Need Opinion on a Galaxy

I have the chance to pick up a Saturn and I was just wanting a little info on it ......It will come with a D104 Mic along with the reg mic ...I seen a few pics and it looks clean ....it is an older feller that is selling it so I dont think he would shaft me on purpose

So what would be a good offer on this radio ?

I agree with Mike.Most sell for $300 around here.Its a really nice radio if you don't plan on running a base amp.

The Saturn is just a standard radio with no built in amp like the Turbo.. Also I know plenty of people that use either one to run their amp

Saturn is just about the same thing as a DX 2517. Some parts are the same. Little or no information ( PDB configs, Schematics, Manuel, etc. ) are available. Galaxy does not support the planitary series radios. I think it was another company making um. Rack mount, duel final, etc etc.

I looked at several and after research I decided to go with the Galaxy DX 2517 instead.

If the price is right, go for it.
