I'm dropping am only for ssb capable. I found a deal on a lincoln and can't pass it up. This will sit well next to my grant lt. Not sure which I will use mobile but looking forward to having the choice.

Re: buying a president lincoln tomorrow
Is it the newer made that just came out or one of the older models that are similar to the Uniden 2510 model?

Older model. Not the Lincoln 2. I wouldn't mind getting the new one but for that price I'd rather get a 2970.

Re: buying a president lincoln tomorrow
Once I got used to it, I now like it best. Still love my grant lt but the lincoln is better for tuning in stations. Rf power is great for jumping on am.dirtyjob wrote:love my old school lincoln, one of the best ssb radio's I have ever used.
