There are allot of areas in Canada that speak French. Then again, I've talked to France freebanding before. Never on 27.395 LSB though...unless you were able to get a QSO going, pretty hard to tell for sure.

We get a lot of that here in Ohio from a few guys up in Quebec. They run a lot on 37 and 39LSB. Can't say it's them for sure but the one's Roger beep does sound about right. Unless you can speak French they will ignore you. They are just that way....lol. I have heard a few Euro stations on 36-40 LSB but mostly England or Ireland. Never have heard France down there but it is possible.

i know them, they are local, most of them dont speak english or verry basic.
this arround joliette, quebec, canada.
they talking about the radio signal, then one of them can ear you loud and clear.
then they start talking about skipp.
