What can help?
Ive came over my TV forever even with my old 4watt radio so I THINK maby some better coax might help some. I got some old low shelded stuff from I think either a local CB shop or it might have even came from radio shack. Either way its old and I have gotten TVI every time I key even with 4watts.
Would RG213 help this?
I got some ordered and should be here monday. Ordered it just to help cut down on Interferance and carry more watts.
If this doesnt help whats another option?
Better (non fiberglass antenna)? I want an I-10K but cant afford it right now after just buying the radio.
Anyway MY tvi dosnt bother me. But I dont want to tick off the neighbors.
And we have a speaker phone in the other room. A desktop that has speaker ability.
I BLAST that thing every time I key.
Comes right threw the speaker.
And someone was just on that phone and I keyed and they said they lost there entire conversation and could here nothing but me when I did it.
OOPSE! lol
Anything I can do about this other than stated above?
Please give me some ideas. I really want to get rid of this if possible barefoot because Id like to put some more fire in the wire eventually.

I trust that you are talking about a base setup.
Tell us about your antenna:
type of antenna
how it's mounted
where it's mounted
type of building
type of grounding
Getting it high, up, away, and grounded properly with very low SWR's is the way to go.
Also, shop around, and inquire about TVI filters. Some are junk, so research before you buy.
I'd bet that Al at Sparky's, or Mike at ***Censored*** can advise on a decent TVI filter.

Tell us about your antenna:
type of antenna Brand Unknown-bought it off a friend years back. resembles a Proconn. Its a 2section Fiberglass
how it's mounted On a Steel Mast pole with guide wires
where it's mounted Back yard aprox 8ft out of the window
type of building 1 story
type of grounding Going to redo it but its grounded at the Ubolt on the antenna and the mast is in the ground (if that counts)
Getting it high, up, away, and grounded properly with very low SWR's is the way to go. With mic Gain down and RF power on low my SWR's per the radios meter and my radioshack meter are 1.2 (and varry slightly depending on weather but never 1.5 or higher)
Also, shop around, and inquire about TVI filters. Some are junk, so research before you buy. Any sights on the good ones?

Good info. I think you're going a good route with the coax change and grounding upgrade.
I hope you get good input on the TVI filter from the guys. I don't have solid advice on a good one. I think that you will be dependent on one.
I wonder if the condition of you home "power ground rod" near the meter base could have an effect? is it in good condition?
Don't be skeered to cal RA or Al. They are the pros.

You know I never thought about that. The meter and ground are not far at all from the antenna. BUT theres no other place to put the antenna. And without a tower I cant really get it much higher. And for a tower id have to have 2 trees taken down (by tree removers) and then I think it would fit but man those towers are expensive.
Yea RA and AL are Pros for sure. Ive done business with both and both are top shelf.
But Id prefer to bother them last. There busy making mudduck stompin radios and im bothering them about TVI lol.
ground, ground, ground,..
And get a good quality low pass filter..
I have tried the pyramid low pass, But the
Bencher YA-1 Low Pass Filter is one of the best I have found..
bencher also makes a high pass filter for your tv's..
I put the low pass in line on my side, & gave my neighbors high pass filters.. & so far with the fitlers & extra good grounds.. no more TVI
