Made my first contact ever this morning! 620 Oregon. Also spoke with 361 Northern California, 034 Oregon, holy smokes what a rush! These dudes said I was coming in Loud and Clear. Yeeeehaaa! Can't wait to DX again. It took two months of trying to get a contact. Also, my dad was able to hear skip today for the first time with his setup. He was giving it a shot too. He got through with his barefoot uniden bearcat. Today was a good day!

AWESOME CONGRATS!!! IT is a rush isn't it! The rush I got from making my furthest contact in Washington state from New Orleans was priceless, I thought I was gonna explode!!!

Yes it does feel great. I can't believe those guys said I was loud and clear. thats quite a distance here to Southern California. Guess now I'm hooked. Now just can't wait to make a East coast contact.

You can believe it!
When the propagation is good, you can be loud and clear even from that distance.

I got my first contacts about one year ago, It's a great feeling!

Here to san Diego 2875 miles. Man, I still cant believe it. Skip was not as good today. I heard some on 17 am and 38 LSB but not as clear as yesterday.
