Just wanted to publicly thank Greg for all the help and advice he's given me in getting my station running. He has a wealth of knowledge stored in his head and isn't afraid to share it. Thanks Greg!

That Greg is one good Radio contact, that is a fact.
I sure hope I get to speak with him one of these days.

That's a big 10-4!!
I'll jump on the "thank Greg" bandwagon any day! I wish he was my next door neighbor. I'd love it and he'd hate it. I'd be buggin' him all the time for advice and tips and borrowing all his test equipment and probably his truck and boat too.
Anyway, thanks to Greg. If he doesn't know the answer, there isn't one.
Wish I could reciprocate and help him out with something but the only things I might know he doesn't would probably be new ways to break stuff.
Just hope he doesn't get sick-n-tired of sharing his vast knowledge and intellect with us curmudgeons.

Thanks guys but I'm not taking all the credit, there are a few members that help out on problems I've either forgotten or never knew. Throw some thanks to sonoma, DB, and pabxone, they help out immensely, and there are a few in the past I learned a lot from over the years, they are the ones that make this forum the best.

So, is Greg Mr. T? I heard he once built a Sherman tank out of an old Cobra 29 and a few spare parts off his President McKinley.

I believe you meant "MacGyver".

Whatever works, but MacGyver wasn't part of the A-Team. Maybe he was his own A-team.
(For those of you who actually know how to weld...) I always liked how they'd randomly find an Oxy-acetylene set up on those shows, fire up a cutting torch and then, somehow arc weld a piece of aluminum plate to a railroad tie with it.
Another thing I love about movies and TV ... whenever they go to any kind of shop, there're always sparks flying everywhere, even when no one is grinding or cutting anything. Is that what shops are supposed to look like, sparks spraying everywhere for no reason?
I'm sure when Greg tunes up a Connex, the sparks are flyin'!
You know, I'm thinkin' reality TV here, watch guys build radical CBs for an hour every week. What could be more thrilling? Greg, you'll be a star!
