Amp Question

What would an 1977 mint condition Superbox Ant Bi-linear Amp (65 watt) amp be worth. It works well. Does anyone know anything about these amps and or use them. What kindof #'s you get out of them.

back in "77" amps brought new a dollar a watt, but not today,,

If your trying to sell it, don't expect much. Maybe $30-$50 at the most? (40 cents a watt for used?)

If your thinking about buying one, I wouldn't.

No i am not. I own one. I am just intrested in finding out what i have on my hands.
In the mail is my swp gen lee and my davemade 1x2
I was just ondering if there is any point to keep it

Sounds like a cool little amp to hook to a 12v power supply and run with a base radio.

Those were my exact thoughts. Put it on the base.
I just dont know if it would sopund good. I would have to get my 29 matched to it. I dont get good feedback from radio checks. When the amp is on it sounds bad but i am guessing its due to to high of a dead key.

your probably right, sounds like it's over modulating.
