SuperStar 3000Hp
So i ran into an old local fella at the gas station last nite. Hes out of work and hurting for $$ so he offers me a Super Star 3000 hp with no mic for $20 bucks. I realy didnt have the time to hook it up in the truck to see if it worked but he said it did and was doing about 45 watts. I have tried to google this radio with not much success. I just want to know that if I hook up and meter to it and it works are there any problems i need to be aware of on this model and is it worth $20? I would also like to see some videos on the operation of this radio. One of the knobs pulls out for some kind of function that i am not at all familiar with nor was he.

If you looked at it and it is comparatively in good shape it would be worth $20. They were basically a Cobra 29 on steroids, extra channels, single final, AM/FM radio. Look at the Galaxy 33 for the specs.
