If you have the 4pin Cobra/Galaxy/Uniden microphone to a 6pin RCI Ranger adapter, it should work on the Cobra 29LX Max radio,

Cobra 29LX MAX (Bluetooth version) 6 Pin Mic Wiring:

1- Common/Shield
2 - Audio
3 - TX
4 - RX
5 - Blue Tooth MIC IN (not applicable when when with 4 pin mic)
6 - Blue Tooth SW (not applicable when when with 4 pin mic)

RCI Ranger 6 Pin Mic Wiring:

1 - Common/Shield
2 - Audio
3 - TX
4 - RX
5 - UP (not applicable when when with 4 pin mic)
6 - DWN (not applicable when when with 4 pin mic)

The 4pin plug on the microphone doesn't need to be changed.
